Chief administrative officer, St. Mary's Medical Center North The planning and operations hats Jeremy Biggs has worn over the course of his nearly 10-year career with St. Mary's Health System prepared him to head up its newest hospital. “It's hard for somebody to come out of grad school in a year and be able to take on a whole hospital just because there's a learning process," Biggs said. “Every day, I still learn something new." Biggs was introduced to the health care industry while working with Medic Regional Blood Center while attending the University of Tennessee, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration 1993. “I was not cut out to go to med school or be a physician," he said. “My ambition, at that point, was to work in a hospital in some sort of leadership capacity."
