| CitiMortgage to cut 100 jobs
CitiMortgage says it will cut 100 mortgage servicing employees in Des Moines to reduce expenses and streamline operations. The jobs will be eliminated in June, the company said Thursday. Citigroup, the business's New York-based parent, said the cuts are a result of a review announced in April that would slash $10.4 billion in expenses from 2007 to 2009. The company said it expected to eliminate 17,000 jobs in all. .
